SOUTH Sydney's Michael Crocker will play on for at least another season with the Rabbitohs after signing a new one-year deal today.
The veteran of six Tests for Australia, 13 State of Origins for Queensland and five grand finals has extended his deal to the end of next season.
"I’m really happy about going around for another season and it’s an exciting time to be part of South Sydney," said co-captain Crocker, who this season led the Rabbitohs to their best premiership finish in nearly a quarter of a century.
"We're working on building our own history at this club, and I really want to be part of it."
"Michael's leadership qualities really shone through in 2012 as part of our five-man captaincy group," Maguire said.
"He is, and will be, an integral part of this group growing and taking the next steps forward.
"His experience will be crucial in guiding our younger players and helping us to create what we are trying to create at this club."
